World Vision Gala with Alexander O’Neal
The annual World Vision Gala at the Puente Romano is always a highlight of Marbella’s social calendar. This great evening raises money for World Vision, an international children’s charity, working to make lives better for children growing up in some of the most difficult places in the world. Its motto is “Change a Child’s World for Good”, which is surely something we can all get behind.
This year’s event will take place at the Sea Grill right by the sea and according to the press release it will be “a non-stop extravaganza of entertainment, live music, international gastronomy and fantastic raffle prizes, set under a twinkling summer sky.”
The musical legend Alexander O’Neal, one of the finest soul and rhythm and blues performers will be performing at the event. He will be delighting guests with some of his best known hits including ‘If You Were Here Tonight,’ ‘To Make You Love Me,’ ‘Saturday Love’ and ‘Never Knew Love Like This.’
The summer gala begins at 8.30pm on the terrace of Sea Grill with cocktails and canapés prepared by Michelin starred chef Dani Garcia. Once guests are seated around the pool area the gala dinner commences, the four-course meal is prepared by Puente Romano’s award-winning chef Thomas Stork and served with a selection of wines from the beach resort’s acclaimed sommelier.
