Starlite Festival Marbella 2013
Starlite Festival is coming to Marbella again from the 23rd July to the 24th August. Located in the new auditorium La Cantera Nagueles, visitors to last year’s events were really impressed by the venue, the performances and the atmosphere.
Unusually for events here the 12 concerts have already been confirmed and there’s an impressive selection of International and Spanish performers. Here are some of the highlights, thanks to Marbella VIP Guide for the information:
Jamie Cullum

Known for his great variety of styles such as pop, jazz and soul, Cullum has recently been working on a variety of unique projects. Collaborations with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Pharrell, Sander Kleinenberg, Rizzle Kicks and The Root have made him become one of the most important current jazz vocalists.
Buenavista Social Club

Buena Vista Social Club became a real phenomenon when it launched its first studio album in 1997. Now, sixteen years later, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club is back on stage, and at the Starlite Festival it will be accompanied by two very special guests, Omara Portuondo and Eliades Ochoa. In the last few years they have sold out at venues like Olympia in Paris, London’s Royal Albert Hall and Barcelona’s Liceo. Each of the orchestra’s performers has their very own style of Cuban music and adds their own personal stamp to the sound of montunos, danzones, cha-cha-chas, boleros and Cuban jazz.

International superstar and one of the most successful Spanish artists, Enrique is the winner of multiple platinum awards around the world and with 8 world tours throughout his career, he is with no doubt one of the most important Latin artists in modern music history. Over 1.4 millon people have seen his “Euphoria” show and now he returns to Marbella with an intimate and special performance at the STARLITE FESTIVAL.
Grease in Concert

Grease is set in 1959 at Rydell High School, it describes the adventures of a gang of students and tells the impossible love story between young rebel, Danny Zuko and the prim Sandy Olsen. It’s a performance that will have everyone singing and dancing thanks to its catchy songs that everyone will know.
