The animal charity ANBAD is holding a fundraising beach party on Friday September 17th at Bounty Beach Marbella from 6pm to 10pm. It will be a very relaxed, family friendly event with some food and beer at this lovely chiringuito and everybody’s welcome! The money raised will go towards the charity’s work to save as many animals as possible from Los Barrios, where the stray dogs are put down, to care for them and find them new homes. The International Theatre Studio is performing “Fun in the Park” on Sunday 19th September at 6.30 pm in the new Parque Torre Leonera, Benahavis. All proceeds go to CUDECA to help with their hospice. This will be an evening of entertainment with music and comedy, an interval where visitors can have a picnic in the gardens and a comedic play called “Day Trippers” directed by Kate Jackson. Visitors are encouraged to bring a cushion as the seats are rather hard! Tickets are €12 and can be obtained from Bookworld Espana (San Pedro and Guadalmina), Costa Cards in Benavista and Longmans Bookshop Estepona or at the door.
