Santa Ponça Optician Pledges to Donate Glasses to Underprivileged Kids
Specsavers Opticas are committed to helping people of all ages to see clearly and keep their eyes healthy. To support their local community, the branch in Santa Ponça, Mallorca have made an agreement with C.P. Ses Quarterades school to give a free eye test and supply a free pair of glasses to underprivileged children in the school for every 500 pairs sold in store. This will offer a steady stream of free glasses for children and their families who really need it.
Martin Blake from Specsavers Opticas Santa Ponça explains, “We are delighted to be supporting families at C.P. Ses Quarterades school. Vision is vital for learning, so we don’t want to see any child falling behind because they can’t afford the glasses that they need. With this ongoing relationship we hope that we can ensure all children there have perfect vision and can perform to their full potential.”
Specsavers Opticas Santa Ponca are also offering free eye tests for children and adults until the 4th of December and remind parents that children should have yearly eye tests from the age of three. Visit www.specsavers.es to make an appointment or find out more.
