Happy Christmas!

As Christmas fast approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to wish all our clients, media and friends a very Happy Christmas and a highly successful, positive and enjoyable 2014.

We sincerely hope that this was a good year for you all on a business and personal level. It certainly seems that the Costa del Sol is recovering from five very difficult years and that we have a great opportunity ahead of us to thrive in better times!

At Shaw Marketing Services we celebrated our fifth anniversary this year and are so pleased and grateful to still be here and going from strength to strength, with a whole host of new clients and many faithful clients still with us after all these years. Thanks so much to all of you for your help, support and positivity – we couldn’t have done it without you.

I think all the businesses who have survived these hard times should take a moment to celebrate their success of simply hanging on in there during this crisis and look forward to a great 2014.

On 17th December at 20:30, the wine expert Pancho Campo, the Ronda wine maker Ramos Paul and Marbella WineClub are holding an event at Ristorante Salotto in Nueva Andalucia. During the event Pancho will conduct a tasting of four delicious wines, perfectly paired with three courses of yummy Italian food.

There will be a welcome glass of prosecco to begin, followed by a selection of classic Italian starters accompanied by a Soave, then a slow cooked lamb dish in a Barolo wine sauce served with Ramos Paul 2005 wine and finally a homemade Tiramisu served with a Moscato D’Asti.

Celebrating the passing of another year and the start of a new one is an important rite of passage, but it can be hard to decide where to go and what to do.

Salotto in Nueva Andalucia is holding a special New Year’s Eve gala dinner and party at their spacious venue with delicious Italian food, great wine, live music and a fantastic atmosphere. Judging by the excellent party they threw on Tuesday for the networking groups it’s going to be a good one!

The gala dinner starts from 8pm, with a welcome drink and antipasto, then a selection of their most popular starters. This is followed by a choice of decadent mains including Pasta with beef, mushroom and truffle, Beef Tenderloin in Gorgonzola sauce or Butterfly King Prawns with creamy sauce and the traditional Pandoro for desert.

Wine, water and champagne are all included, with live music before and after midnight and the traditional 12 lucky grapes and celebrations as the clock chimes. The gala dinner and entertainment costs 99€ per person and Salotto is located in Avda del Prado sn, Edificio Sport Café, Marbella.
