Gratiferia at Arboretum 5th August from 7pm
On Sunday 5th August from 19.00 to 23.00 Gratiferia (an event where everything is free) will be held again at Arboretum Marbella.
As it will be held in the evening, visitors are asked to bring along a candle in a glass bottle and the event will be lit by candle light.
The motto of GRATIFERIA is “Because giving is Free”. Visitors can bring what they want (or nothing at all) and take what they want. It is all about sharing without thinking about what you will get back. It isn’t a barter system, there’s no registration or monetary value allocated to any of the products. Bring what you want and take what you want! This is an opportunity to bring nice, useful items which we don’t use and don’t want to keep and find new homes for them where they will be used and appreciated, or simply come and pick up new things for free.
There is a real carnival atmosphere with performers and a lemonade stand and everyone talking to people and making friends. It is a really fun way to have a clear out and find some lovely new things too!
If you have items to donate to the market, come to Arboretum Marbella www.arboretummarbella.com at the beginning of the event around 18.30. Bring a blanket to lay out your things and hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. Alternatively if you can’t stay, just give your donations to one of the team upon arrival and they will help you set up.
