FIESTA Marbella reveals their full line-up of acts and charity partners

On Tuesday 25th of June, at the Gran Melia Don Pepe Hotel, the organizers of the new music festival FIESTA Marbella announced their full line-up and which charities they would be supporting during their 5-day festival. This celebration of music, dance and culture is taking place at the Marbella Arena in Puerto Banus, between the 7th and 11th of August, bringing some of the biggest names to perform in Spain for the very first time.

Bill Blenkarn from FIESTA was joined by Alejandro González Sánchez Youth Counsellor for the Marbella Town Hall and Alejandro Freijo, representative of the Delegation for Economic Development and SMEs of the Marbella Town Hall to explain the benefit of this event to the local area. Also present was Jorge Martín from Marbella Arena, where the festival will take place, and the singer and performer Aimar Habibii, who is performing at the festival. Begoña Arana Álvarez, Founder and Director of the charity Hogar Betania and Juan Borges from the Rotary Club Puerto Banús were also present, to discuss their charity partnerships.

A festival with a heart

At the press conference the charities that the festival will be supporting were announced. FIESTA’s charity partners are – Hogar Betania, Collective Calling, Rotary Club Puerto Banús and Triple A. The team are committed to supporting the local community and good causes, so have partnered with these charities to shine a light on their great work and help them raise much needed funds.

The charities will be showcased before the music begins over the five nights and will have a presence to collect donations and raise awareness of the great work that they are doing.

Each charity also has the opportunity to raise funds through the use of a charity link, where they will receive 10% of every ticket sold through their supporter network.

The organizers hope that the visibility and funds raised during this festival will have a really positive impact on thousands of vulnerable individuals and animals on the Costa del Sol and beyond.

Final acts announced for FIESTA Marbella 2024

At the press conference it was announced that English singer Chesney Hawkes, Norwegian hip hop/rap duo Madcon and Norwegian DJ CLMD will be all be appearing at the Generation: Music Event on Friday 9th of August. They complete the line-up for this packed night of music, alongside the award-winning boyband Blue.

Chesney Hawkes shot to fame with the song “The One and Only”, which topped the UK Singles Chart for five weeks.

Madcon is an award-winning Norwegian musical duo, best known for their biggest hit “Beggin’”. Their single “Are You Ready” was the official theme song of the Special Olympics World Games in 2023.  

CLMD is a Norwegian music producer, DJ, songwriter, artist and TV presenter who has played all over Europe and North America, supported Madonna and been a mentor on the Norwegian version of the TV show The Voice.

Blue have sold 15 million records worldwide, had 3 number 1 albums, 3 number 1 singles and 10 top 10 singles in the UK and are fresh from a sell-out tour. This iconic group will perform their unforgettable classics, from “One Love” to “Fly By” and fans are invited to re-live the hits with Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, Duncan James, and Antony Costa for one night only.

These newly announced acts join global superstars Pete Tong, Nancy Ajram and the best House and Drum and Bass DJs, for a stellar line-up of acts, many of whom have never performed in Spain before.

First time in mainland Spain

Queen of Arab Pop Nancy Ajram will be flying over to Marbella to perform her first concert in mainland Spain, on Thursday 8th of August 2024, as part of FIESTA Marbella’s Arabian Nights event. This event will bring together some of the most illustrious artists from the Middle East and include singers, dancers, DJs and a set from Marbella’s own Aimar Habibii. It’s promising to be a unique, luxurious and immersive entertainment experience, bringing the soul of Arabia to Marbella.

Festival organizer Steve Durham explains, “With our Arabian Nights event, we will be highlighting the music, dancing and traditions of Arabia. There will be singers, dancers and DJs, luxury and entertainment which echoes the vibrant soul of Arabia and its history. We are delighted that Nancy Ajram has agreed to be our headline act and can’t wait to showcase the amazing music and culture of Arabia in Marbella. Marbella attracts thousands of Arabic speaking tourists every year and has a strong Moorish influence in its culture and architecture, so it seemed like the perfect place to hold this celebration of the music and culture of the region and make it easier for fans in Europe and North Africa to come and see Nancy Ajram live.” 

Pete Tong Ibiza Classics with Jules Buckley and The Essential Orchestra have also been announced to perform on Saturday 10th of August, their first performance in mainland Spain. The highly anticipated Ibiza Classics performance promises to deliver an unforgettable showcase of reimagined classic dance tracks, from superstar DJ Pete Tong and acclaimed conductor Jules Buckley and his orchestra.

Ibiza Classics was developed for the Proms in 2015 and takes some of the most loved dance music anthems and translates them into an unforgettable orchestral electronic performance. Grammy award winning composer, conductor and arranger Jules Buckley and The Essential Orchestra celebrate the legacy of dance music, by performing these classic tracks, with Pete Tong DJing alongside them. It caused a sensation at the Proms, and since then Pete Tong and Jules Buckley and his orchestra have toured with the show all over the world. FIESTA Marbella 2024 is bringing this iconic show to mainland Spain for the very first time on the 10th of August.

Two nights of dance music

Global dance music radio station Centreforce 883 and legendary dance music brand Clockwork Orange have put together an incredible line-up for the House Music Night on Wednesday 7th of August. This will showcase the best in House and Disco music from around the world. Festival goers will dance all night long to Ten City Live, featuring special Guest Paris Brightledge, K Klass Live, Jeremy Healy, Master Pasha, Mr Pasha, Andy Manston, Danny Clockwork, Keith Mac, Dolly Rockers and Wayne Soul Avengerz.

Then on Sunday 11th of August, they are holding a Drum n Bass Club Night, with the biggest D ‘n’ B line up Spain has ever seen!

Where to buy tickets for FIESTA?

Tickets are now available to purchase from El Corte Inglés stores and travel agents throughout Spain and via their online and telephone ticketing service.

From July 7th tickets will also be available to buy at La Cañada shopping centre. A pop-up ticket booth will be located in the concourse between the 7th of July and the 11th of August, so visitors can pick up their tickets while they shop.

Hogar Betania – This charity helps people in situations of social exclusion, including victims of human trafficking, families, immigrants, homeless people, prisoners and ex-prisoners and immigrants. Collective Calling – A charity committed to addressing the pressing issues of homelessness in Spain and supporting street children in Tanzania. Their mission is to provide comprehensive assistance, empowerment, and long-term solutions to individuals and communities affected by homelessness, poverty, and social exclusion. www.collectivecalling.org

Triple A Marbella – San Pedro – An animal shelter in Marbella which rescues, cares for, and rehomes abandoned animals. They protect and take care of homeless and unfortunate animals who have been abandoned by their owners. They try to re-home them and give them a second opportunity to a better life. www.tripleamarbella.org

Rotary Puerto Banus – Rotary is a global organisation of leaders and professionals committed to community service and the promotion of peace and friendship throughout the world. Rotary Puerto Banús was formed in 2023 and is the largest group of Rotarians in Spain. With over 120 members, they are dedicated to serving the local community through service projects, fundraising events and networking opportunities. The FIESTA Concept backed by decades of experience

Organized by Bill Blenkarn and Steve Durham, serious music promoters with a stellar record, this promises to be an epic celebration of global music and talent and the organizers want to make this an annual event in Marbella, which brings tourists from across the world to this great town.

Steve Durham was the founder of We Are FSTVL, the UK’s multi award winning dance music festival. Steve built this festival from the first event with 15,000 fans, to welcoming 70,000 festival goers each year and becoming the UK’s biggest independent dance festival.

Bill Blenkarn boasts over 25 years of expertise in the events and conferences industry. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the world’s largest corporations, delivering exceptional, high-end event experiences. In recent years, Bill has shifted his focus to the charitable sector, where he has successfully organized annual galas for some of the UK’s most esteemed charities.

Now, teaming up with Steve Durham, Bill is leveraging his vast knowledge and experience to bring a fresh, vibrant festival vibe to the FIESTA projects. Together, they are committed to pushing the boundaries of event planning, ensuring every event they touch is extraordinary and unforgettable.

We will be bringing some of the biggest and best artists to Marbella, promoting the area as a destination for music and allowing residents to have an incredible time, sharing music and culture along the way. Festival-goers can enjoy a complete festival experience and dance the night away to some of the very best performers Marbella has ever seen. Doors will open from 18.00, with the acts starting from 19.00 and the party will continue until 1am.
