Christmas Market at the Kempinski Hotel Bahia
Get into the swing of the festive season with the Christmas Market at the Kempinski Hotel Bahia on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of December from 4 to 8pm. This family friendly market includes a full sized Ginger Bread Cottage and a chance to visit Santa and tell him what you want for Christmas. At 7pm, watch Santa switch on the Christmas lights on the huge tree in the lobby and give out sweets to the kids.
There will be more than 20 stalls to visit at this market, with artisan and gourmet products and Christmas gifts from local suppliers. Visitors can browse beautiful jewellery, art, clothes and lovely gifts for the home, as well as books, homemade jams and sweets. We have award winning ham carver Popi carving and selling delicious ham and cheese, and wines and olive oils for sale.
As well as the market, guests can enjoy mulled wine, carols and a visit from Santa Claus. At 4pm on Saturday the market opens with a performance by Choir Andaluz until 5pm. The choir from Colegio San Jose de Estepona will perform from 6pm to set the mood. Then Santa Claus switches on the lights of the Kempinski’s Christmas tree at 7pm and hands out sweets to the children.
On Sunday the market opens at 4pm and talented soloists from Sotogrande International School will be performing from 5pm. At 7pm, Santa will once again be turning on the lights, followed by a performance from Choir Andaluz.
Entrance to the market is free of charge and is the perfect way to start the Christmas season and support local businesses.
