Choosing the right educational pathway
Time is ticking until the process for applying for state school places begins on 10th March and so parents with children who are turning 3 this year have to start thinking about what educational pathway is best for their child. It is quite daunting having so many choices here; from the Spanish state system to the English or German curriculum and the International Baccalaureate. So trying to work out what’s best for your child can require a lot of learning for the parents.
With this in mind, Sotogrande International School is running a special information event on Wednesday 5th March 18.00-19.00, to give pre-school parents an insight into the International Baccalaureate’s (IB) primary programme, the IB’s approach to learning for younger children and the pathway to further education in Spain and abroad. This is a chance to ask questions and find out more about this education system prior to choosing a primary school.
There will be refreshments, a chance to meet other parents and speak to the teachers, followed by a short but informative presentation with free childcare provided.
