Sotogrande International School (SIS) is an International Baccalaureate school and learning community, offering high quality, personalised learning in English for children from 3-18 years old. Their philosophy is to use child-focused, holistic learning to inspire, challenge and empower students to become the best they can be.
The school is passionate about the benefits of this style of learning to give children the best possible start in life and want to open their doors to students from all over the Costa del Sol. To make this possible for families in Marbella they are launching an express bus service from a central pick up point which will get students to school in less than 35 minutes. For those further afield there is a new boarding house in a former 4* hotel where children can board during the week, enjoy sports, activities and time with their friends and spend the weekends at home.
To mark the launch of this express bus service and the opening of their new boarding house SIS are running a special networking and information event at Camuri in Marbella on 13th November. This will be a relaxed event with live music, drinks, canapés and the opportunity to network and get to know other parents. There will be a short but informative presentation about the International Baccalaureate and its benefits, the concept of personalised learning and how it is applied at SIS, what’s new at the school and the opportunity to ask questions and talk with the team.

On Thursday 30th of January networking group Malaga Business Minds are holding a free event at Kaleido Restaurant in the Port of Málaga. For the first time the presentation will be both in English @8pm & Spanish @9pm, after which we will be networking and socialising with likeminded business owners and entrepreneurs as well as the speaker for the evening Michelle Kempton.
