For the second year running, Costa Women are delighted to be hosting the International Women’s Day 2015 at Andalucia Lab on 13th March 2015. This year’s focus is #MakeItHappen and the event has been designed with Women in Business in mind! The event is in conjunction with 1230, The Women’s Company who will be flying over to join us from the UK!
Our own Georgina Shaw will be MCing the event which is also supporting Specsavers Opticas’ fantastic campaign to collect glasses for Lions Clubs International, so bring along any unwanted glasses on the day!

he Shaw Marketing Services’ Manilva networking group has announced that 100% of the proceeds from their 18th March event will be donated to The Duquesa Charitable Association of St George.
This monthly, bilingual networking event is usually just for women, but this special fundraising event will be open to all business people on the Western Costa del Sol to give entrepreneurs a friendly and open environment to build their network, find suppliers and make new contacts, whilst raising money for a great cause.
This group is led by marketing and networking expert Georgina Shaw from Shaw Marketing Services, who is passionate about creating a strong group to support the local business community and wants to use this platform to raise money for charity. “I strongly believe that all businesses should make a positive impact on their community and our March networking event will be a great way to support businesses whilst raising much needed funds. We hope as many people as possible will come and take part.”
Dean Tyler Shelton, President of The Duquesa Charitable Association of St George and Area Director at Manilva Town Hall will be attending the event to show his support. Dean commented “I’m thrilled to not only have been invited along to this event, that I personally believe to be optimal for the future positioning of Manilva as a business centre or place to do business on the Costa del Sol and wider Spain, but that they have also chosen our small local charity to be the receiver of the proceeds of the event.”
The networking event costs 5€ to include the networking activities and refreshments and all proceeds will be donated to The Duquesa Charitable Association of St George. The event is being held at CIVIMA (Manilva Wine Museum) from 18.30-20.00 and all business people are welcome.
