Arboretum Marbella and Aloha College sign collaboration agreement
The Director of Arboretum Alejandro César Orioli and Victor E. Ranea, Manager of Aloha College have signed a partnership agreement in order to combine resources to achieve their common objectives of inspiring respect and care for the environment in the next generation.
Aloha College is a private educational foundation, which celebrates its 30 anniversary this year. As an International School, it offers qualifications in three different systems: the British curriculum, Spanish Language and Culture Program and the prestigious International Baccalaureate. Aloha College offers all non-university training courses, from kindergarten through to high school in an international environment where more than 40 nationalities are represented.
Arboretum Director Alejandro Orioli, commented, “We are excited that Arboretum Marbella can count Aloha College as an important contributor and partner. It will allow their students to have practical tuition on all matters to do with sustainability and apply what they are taught at school in our facilities.
Arboretum knows that integrating children in our programs and activities is essential to create awareness of environmental matters for future generations, where the environment is considered and valued forever. To date more than 3,000 children from different colleges and institutions have been to our park, and we look forward to welcoming students from Aloha College as a result of our collaboration.”
Victor Ranea, says “Aloha College is very excited about this collaboration. We opted for the Arboretum project because we identify with its mission. For our students, respect and care for the environment has become a priority value. We believe that today and of course in the future, the education sector must have a commitment to our environment, sustainability, care for our resources, and everything that means in regards to our habitat.”
