Andalucia Lab announces new developments for 2015
The Costa del Sol’s pioneering centre for innovation in tourism and business Andalucia Lab has recently launched an English version of their website http://www.andalucialab.org/en/ and announced exciting plans and a packed programme of events to help small businesses in spring and summer 2015.
They offer practical and innovative solutions for SMEs on the Costa del Sol using technology and innovation, as well as advice and support for improving and modernising their business and growing stronger.
One of the new developments is to increase the number of single topic training courses and the length of these sessions, due to demand. They are now holding four hour training sessions allowing businesses to get into depth about more complex topics such as Creating an Online Shop and Creating a WordPress Website.
They are now offering snippets from their courses which can be viewed online to supplement their offline training which covers a wide variety of important topics for business. Entrepreneurs can now view videos of Andalucia Lab’s workshops and search by keywords or categories such as Adwords, Affiliate Marketing, Online Marketing, Social Media and more to find the right topic for them. They are committed to increasing this online content with short webinar training courses in order to allow businesses to be able to develop themselves from home. http://www.andalucialab.org/recursos-formativos/
The team also reinforced their commitment to encourage and develop innovation and knowledge sharing in the tourist sector and maintain their important role as a pioneering centre in Spain. They intend to develop the competiveness of businesses in the local area and propel Andalucia forward as a location in the vanguard of tourist innovation.
This highly important, yet little known centre is located Ctra Nacional 340, Km 189.6 Marbella by the Residencia de Tiempo Libre, not only offers training and support to small businesses, but also an affordable office and event space for small businesses. Their Coworking area is a business ecosystem which they say is changing the traditional way of working and how businesses interact with their work space.
Businesses have a work space within the large, light and airy coworking room, a lockable cupboard and access to the centre’s facilities including high speed Wi-Fi, printer, photocopier, meeting rooms, training and even a conference room, as well as access to their business experts. Coworking spaces are available very cost-effectively, to allow even small businesses to afford to work away from home in a positive and inspirational environment. To apply for a space or find out more please email info@andalucialab.org.
Everyone is also welcome to use their Café Lab, a comfortable area with free Wi-Fi, where you can work and hold meetings without the need to book, and attend their free training courses.
