Marbella Carnaval

Carnaval is upon us and Marbella Town Hall are organising lots of activities over the coming weeks. Some of the highlights are:

Thursday March 3

10:00 h.: Carnival walk starting at Plaza de los Naranjos, C/ Estación, Plaza de la Victoria, C/ Pedraza, Plaza de Africa, C/ Africa, Avda. Ramón y Cajal, Paseo de la Alameda, C/ Carlos Mackitons, Avda. del Mar, Duque de Ahumada (Paseo Marítimo), Avda. Maria de Salamanca ending at Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo.

Saturday March 5th

12:30 h.: VIII Mussel Carnival, “Memorial Antonio Rubio”, “El Extranjero”, in the carnival tent at Parque de la Represa (next to pavillion). Mussel tasting, carnival entertainment.

Saturday March 12

18:30 h.: Comedy Parade:

Starting at C/ Gregorio Marañón, Avda. Ricardo Soriano, Avda. Ramón y Cajal, Avda. Nabeul, Puente de Málaga, Avda. Maíz Viñals and ending at the carnival tent at Parque de la Represa.

Followed by: Gran Fiesta de Carnaval (the big party!) at the tent at Parque de la Represa.

00:00 h.: Burial of the Sardine – carnival closing ceremony at Parque de la Represa.

Sunday March 13

13:00 h.: Grand Chorizo Carnival in front of the Asociación Cultural Carnavalesca Marbellí (Calle José Iturbi). Free chorizo tastings and carnival entertainment.
