It’s tough to stand out in a crowded marketplace, especially if you’re trying to compete with your competitors by doing the same thing they are doing. The key to standing out is to develop a strong and distinctive brand and an identity which cannot be confused with your competitors and be brave enough to do something different.
A great example of a brand which understands how to position themselves in order to create a niche in a highly competitive sector is Nordica Sales & Rentals. They are a Scandinavian real estate brand with an excellent reputation and very good results, but they realised that in order to stand out they needed to do something different and decided to take the brave step to specialise in the area of Nueva Andalucia and become a dominant force in that area. This specialisation has really set them apart and their clear branding and strong visual identity really stands out from the crowd. In addition they have implemented smart strategies to not lose the competitive edge by creating an agent network so they can always find buyers for their properties.

Few companies would be brave enough to take such a minimalist approach, but with Nordica’s clear vision and modern brand identity, it has allowed our talented designer to come up with something really striking. This is a good example of great design and a clear company identity combining to create an ad which has a big impact.
