Marketing Inspiration – La Sala
I have always been a fan of the La Sala concept and think the team behind it is very clever with their combination of good food, great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
They are really good at their marketing strategy, always inventing ways to grow their database such as a loyalty card, expanding to appeal to different clients through special events and promotions such as deals for Ladies who Lunch with unlimited cava, I like their style.
Now that we’re in Manilva, I was delighted to see that they were opening in La Sala Gibraltar and went down to their pre-launch press conference to check it out. They are applying the same La Sala philosophy to an amazing location – a cruise ship hotel!
I signed up for their newsletter right away to see what was going on and was impressed to get an invitation to a free glass of cava during their opening week – available only for newsletter subscribers. This gives you a sense of being special, generates loyalty and of course gets you down there to very probably buy another drink, or two – good idea, with a relatively low cost and high returns.
Well done La Sala, great to see people doing it properly, and I look forward to heading down there soon.
