What a week!
This week’s been super-busy, dealing with clients, doing loads of networking and getting our new leaflets and business cards printed which you can see in the picture here. Our re-brand has been a while in the making, but we’ve finally got everything ready to go. We’re very excited about our new look and we’re offering a free marketing brainstorm session to celebrate. This gives any company the opportunity to meet with me for half an hour to discuss their marketing needs and generate some new ideas and things to try. If you want to book your brainstorming meeting, please email me on info@shawmarketingservices.com.
I’ve also been stepping up my networking – Wednesday I went to the 4B Networkinglunch at the Selenza Hotel which was excellent and got a very promising lead. In the evening I went to the Marbella Tweet-upin the lovely Guey in Nueva Andalucia which was fun and has a different crowd from the other networking meetings I go to. I would definitely recommend going to networking groups if you’re just launching your Costa del Sol business, or even if you want to grow an existing business but you’re not sure where to start. I find it a very valuable way to build a brand, meet people to support you, find trusted suppliers and find new business.
Yesterday we went to Hannah Murray’s quiz night at Da Vinci’s in San Pedro which was great fun. They put on a delicious buffet and the quiz was excellent, a good mix of questions and not too hard that it was embarrassing. We had a 11 year old boy on our team who probably answered the most questions right which put the rest of us to shame, but it was a good laugh.
Today I’m off to do Women Talk on Talk Radio Europe, which is a show based around the programme Loose Women. Basically it’s Hannah Murray and three women discussing stories from the UK papers (usually silly ones) and sharing our views. If you want to listen please tune in from 2-3 today. Then this weekend we’re off to see the flamenco show in Old Town Marbella which we’ve been meaning to go to for ages. I’ll let you know how that goes next week!
Have a wonderful weekend.

Hi GEORGina!
Thanks for coming along to TweetMarbella. It was nice to see you again.
I think everyone came away from that tweetup with some new potential business!
See you at the next one in September.

I love the new look! The leaflet has a really edgy feel to it. Congratulations!
Georgina
Hey guys, thanks a lot for your comments. It was great to see you both last week too.
Sharon
Loving the new brand, looks great, corporate but with a real Shaw Marketing swish and sense of style, much like its owner, well done!
Georgina
Thanks Sharon, that’s very sweet of you! As you know rebrands take such a long time and a lot of love, so I’m really pleased that everyone’s responding to it so well. Looking forward to Seal on Friday! G x
